Helping you live an independent and fulfilling life
Our Services
Who we are and what we do
Carman Care specialise in providing housing support and care services to older people and people with medical conditions and higher support needs enabling them to live independent and fulfilling lives. We are based in Waterside View, Renton, Dunbartonshire in a purpose state of the art facility affectionately known by the service users as “The Renton Hilton”. The building was carefully planned and built by Cordale Housing Association in 2008. Our dedicated team ensure that our housing support and care services continue to be awarded excellent ratings from the Care Inspectorate.
Carman Care operates in the Renton area of West Dunbartonshire. Our principal aim is to provide housing support and services to the residents living at Waterside View, Renton. Carman Care was established in 2006 and originally provided mobile housing support for residents in West Dunbartonshire as part of West Dunbartonshire Council’s Supporting People contract. In 2008 we won the tender to supply housing support services for the to the services users who lived in the 40 apartments within Waterside View.
Carman Care is run by a Board of Directors. The Board is ultimately responsible for deciding on our strategic direction and monitors our performance. It is also responsible for ensuring we fulfil our legal responsibilities. Our Board of Directors meet monthly.
We employ a dedicated staff team led by Susan Gunn, Registered Manager. Susan and her team are highly experienced and dedicated to providing a first class service to the service users within the building.
